Lisa Atkins, Northwest Regional Coordinator
Lisa was hired in 2014 as the Northwest Regional Coordinator of Students For Life of America (SFLA). As a Regional Coordinator, Lisa travels through OR, WA, ID, MT and AK, training and empowering pro-life student leaders to take a stand for Life on their campuses and in their communities.
Lisa is a graduate of Boise State University (BSU) and holds a B.S. in Health Science with an emphasis in General Health, as well as a minor in French Business Studies. During her studies at BSU, she co-founded and became President of a pro-life student organization, Abolitionists4ife, on campus in connection with SFLA. While Lisa served as President of Abolitionists4Life, the group hosted a live ultrasound on campus, the Planned Parenthood Project, “What Has Roe Done for Us” display, a graphic image display, and they launched the Pregnant on Campus Initiative at BSU. While a student, Lisa lobbied for Pro-Life Legislation and spoke at various local pro-life conferences and trainings. During the 2013-2014 year, Lisa was accepted into the William Wilberforce Fellowship with SFLA where she further developed and strengthened her skills as a leader for the pro-life movement.
Lisa is the current Miss Washington International 2014 and upholds the “Pregnant on Campus” platform where her passion for Life reaches various audiences both on and off stage. Lisa actively works to empower young mothers to pursue educational and career opportunities through the promotion and expansion of pregnancy resources and parenting services to transform college communities to break the stigma against unexpected pregnancy.
Lisa’s desire to grow as a woman and a leader has empowered her to continue her work in the pro-life movement as the Northwest Regional Coordinator to further challenge, empower and equip this generation to stand for Life.
